NEW BOOK JUST ANNOUNCED!
I'm excited to inform you about my new book 'Nine', which is currently in production. The estimated shipping date is early September 2008. 'Nine' features my recent work from Japan, India, Canada and the United States. We are taking pre-orders now - and we are confident that the printing will sell-out quickly. SOLO-SHOWS IN BRUSSELS & ZURICH!
The famed Young Gallery in Brussels, Belgium will show my work in an extensive solo-exhibition from May 30th until September 10th, 2008. I will be attending the show-opening on May 29th. Another solo-exhibition will open on May 8th in Zurich, Switzerland at the Art Gallery Ryf. I will be attending the show-opening as well.

PHOTO L.A. EXHIBITION!

MAGAZINE FEATURES!
My image "Red Morning" is on the front-cover of American magazine 'LensWork' (#74), they also published a portfolio of 20 images and an interview. Please watch out for a copy at newsstands worldwide. Also, portfolios and interviews will be published in 'Foto&Video Magazine' (Russia) in the January issue; 'MUSE Fashionart Magazine' (Italy) (January issue); 'Photographer Magazine' (Ukraine) (February issue). An interview was also published in 'Professional Photographer Magazine' (UK) in the December issue.

GALLERY REPRESENTATION IN NEW YORK CITY!
I'm happy to announce that my prints are now available at Bonni Benrubi Gallery. The gallery is one of Manhattan's finest, and it's located just a few steps from the glamourous 5th Avenue: Fuller Building at 41 East 57th Street.

SOLO-SHOW IN LONDON!
I'm very excited about my upcoming solo-exhibition in London at ATLAS Gallery. The show is scheduled to kick-off with an opening reception in the evening of December 5th, 2007 - I will be in attendance. The exhibition will run until early February 2008. ATLAS will have a large number of prints from Iceland, China, Japan, Yemen, Deep South and Vietnam. Signed copies of my newest book 'Unleashed Two' will be also available for purchase. ATLAS Gallery is located at 49 Dorset Street (Baker Street) in W1U 7NF, London.

SOLO-SHOW IN BERLIN!
After a very successful solo-show at the prestigious Camera Work Gallery in Berlin earlier this year - a further solo-exhibition in Berlin will open on December 2nd, 2007 - at the Galerie 206 of the luxury-goods-mall Quartier 206 at the shopping-district at Friedrichstrasse (near Brandenburger-Gate). Big parts from my Deep South, Iceland and China works will be on display. The gallery also has it's own bookshop - they will have my books as well. The exhibition will run until end of January 2008.

NATURE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR!
"Los Angeles, California, 8/16/2007 -- The Pilsner Urquell International Photography Awards (IPA) today announced winners of the 2007 competition. Over 45,000 entries from 100 countries, making IPA the most important photo competition out there. Austria-based photographer Josef Hoflehner wins the main-category "Nature" and awarded as 'Nature Photographer of the Year'."

"Josef Hoflehner is now also shortlisted for the prestigious 'International Photographer of the Year' Award, and has the chance to win a coveted Lucie Statue at the Lucie Awards at the Lincoln Center in New York City on October 15th, 2007. The Lucie Awards in the photography world are the equivalent of the Academy Awards (Oscars) in the motion picture industry. The award ceremony is a glittering mix of photographers, media industry insiders and of course Hollywood celebrities. Previous honorees include Henri Cartier-Bresson, Elliot Erwitt, Ralph Gibson, and William Klein."
